About Human Growth Hormone
The synthetic growth hormone (HGH) is also called somatropin (British term: somatrophin). The HGH refers to the human growth hormone and is the abbreviation of Human GH (somatropin) that is extracted from the human pituitary glands. In the year 1985, the biosynthetic human growth hormone acted as the replacement for the pituitary derived HGH for the therapeutic use in the US and elsewhere. Biosynthetic human growth hormone is also known as the recombinant growth hormone. It is also known as somatropin and shortly called as rhGH. Ever since the mid 1990s, the abbreviation HGH had begun to carry the connotations that are paradoxical and it is now referred rarely as the real GH that is used for the above mentioned purposes. What is somatropin?
The somatropin is also commonly referred to as the human growth hormone (HGH) and is a hormone that is produced in the body of the human and excreted in to the blood by the cells of somatotrope of the back of pituitary gland. It is a single chain protein that consists of 191 amino acids with the molecular weight of around 22000 Daltons.
GH secretion has many indirect as well as the direct effects on the body of the human. The GH stimulates the liver’s production of insulin like the growth factor (IGH-1). Since GH stimulates the production of IGF-1, the effects of both the GH and the IGH-1 are mentioned below:

In the human body, the somatotropin is at its highest level in the children and during the age of puberty thereby stimulating the growth of the body during those ages. After the puberty, the hormone secretion level declines and also continues to do so as the person grows older.
The growth hormone deficiency (GHD) is such a disease in which the pancreas of a patient fails to produce sufficient amount of normal endogenous growth hormone. Human Growth Hormone side effects
As the growth hormone is a naturally produced substance in the human body, the side effects of the HGH treatment are rather a rare possibility. HypoglycemiaThe hypoglycaemia is the opposite of diabetes.
